Seriously. Joan discovered the use of eye shadow for her scalp, just like some people also use eye shadow for filling in sparse eyebrows. My suggestion is: find an inexpensive eye shadow at the store like I did to hide my scalp and gray hair between coloring. (I didn’t get the idea from Joan.)If you think it won’t work as well, go for what Joan offers but understand it’s just a pigmented powder you can find anywhere…even on Amazon.

Been using this about a year and would never be without it!
In a pinch, I used regular dark eyeshadow. It ended up rubbing it all over my pillow and even on my hand whenever I rubbed my head. Embarrassing…
Good Hair Day DOES NOT RUB OFF EASILY like regular eyeshadow. It’s buildable and stays put a for days. In fact if I go 3 days without washing my hair (lightly touching up), on the fourth day I pay extra close attention to cleaning my scalp because the powder will still be there if I don’t.
Great stuff and will buy again!

It’s not that the stuff is bad, it’s just I could’ve went to WalMart & bought some dark brown eyeshadow & applied it to my head for a whole lot less…
