Tayrn Wicijowski scored 22 points, including six in overtime, to lead Utah to a 51-45 victory against New Mexico in the second round of the Mountain West Conference tournament on Wednesday night. Janita Bandon had 11 points for the No. 4-seeded Utes (21-10), who face TCU, the top seed, in Friday’s semifinals.

La Salle University women’s basketball coach Tom Lochner won’t return next season. The school said Tuesday’s announcement came after “a mutual agreement” between Lochner and athletic director Tom Brennan.
