For streak free mirrors, clean them with clear rubbing alcohol. Use an old cotton tee shirt to wipe the mirror clean.

To clean window sills, pour diluted rubbing alcohol on a cloth and rub the entire surface. Then dust off the sill with a clean cloth.
Window Screens
Carpet remnants glued to a small block of wood are an ingenious way to clean window screens.
Rather than bother with washing screens, use the vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment, screens look great after.
To clean window screens, take the screen out of the window, place in tub, spray with "scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner". Rinse, and replace in window.
Curtains
To freshen up curtains, throw them in the dryer with a damp towel and a softener sheet.
Dust curtains by tossing in your dryer and set on cool or air dry. Throw in a fabric softener sheet to help freshen them up.
Avoid splashing curtains when washing the windows by folding them on a coat hanger and hanging it from the pole or runner.
Blinds & Miniblinds
Dust blinds by wrapping a cloth around a ruler. Spray cloth with a dusting spray and run the flat end across each blind.
Wipe blinds and miniblinds with a damp fabric softener sheet to eliminate static that collects dust.
